Ian Haynes is an engineer and respected industry thought leader with a proven record of innovative and cost-effective solutions within the pharmaceutical sector. He was previously Associate Engineering Director for the Global Engineering Technology group at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals where, alongside other activities, he contributed heavily to the company’s Pack Coding and Security Features programme. As a result of this work, AstraZeneca achieved a leading position with respect to serialisation and continues to play a key role in this field today. Ian is now a senior director of 3C Excellis Europe, the European arm of Excellis Health Solutions, a specialist consultancy providing Deep Business expertise across Life Science, Manufacturing, Distribution and Consumer industries in all business-critical domains including serialisation.
