Andy Faes, Expeditors

In 2014, Andy Faes assumed his current position at Expeditors’ offices in Brussels, Belgium where he is primarily responsible for developing and managing the company’s Healthcare Vertical for Europe.

Andy started his logistical career in 1999 with American Airlines in various commercial roles for Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg. He moved to London in 2007 to join their Cargo Division for EMEA and became chairman of American Airlines Cargo Sales Advisory Board.

In 2009, Andy set up AA Cargo Temperature Controlled Services EPXTC for the region, training 3,000 colleagues towards GDP compliance.

In 2011, Andy was transferred back to Belgium where he joined Envirotainer in a global role to manage a portfolio of Global Partners and Shippers by creating viable and sustainable logistics partnerships.

A speaker of 5 languages, IATA CEIV-certified and Licensed Expeditors GDP trainer, Andy graduated from Thomas More University Belgium with a degree in Supply Chain Management. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys tennis, running, cycling, yoga and golf, as well as spending time with his wife and two young kids.
