Alban François is Vice President Cargo at Brussels Airlines, Belgium’s flag carrier and part of the Lufthansa Group. Alban was appointed to this newly created role in January 2016, in which he is responsible for developing and rolling out the new commercial strategy of the growing Brussels Airlines Cargo Unit. Before this, Alban was Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Manager and was closely involved in several strategic acquisition files linked to Brussels Airlines’ transformation. A civil engineer, Alban started his career in the Belgian Air Force.
